ARTISTIC DIRECTOR/CONDUCTOR
Dr. RICHARD HEINZLE
Richard became the Music Director of the South Huron Community Choirs in January 2014. Since then the choir has performed major works such as Charpentier’s Te Deum, Saint-Saen’s Christmas Oratorio, Rutter’s Feel the Spirit, Haydn’s Creation and Handel’s Messiah. The choir has performed in London, Sarnia and the 2017 International Plowing Match.
In 2017 Richard received the Huron County Cultural Award for Individual Artist for work contributing to the reputation of Huron County as a producer of artistic excellence.
In addition to the South Huron Community Choirs, Richard is music director and organist at All Saints Catholic Church in Etobicoke. In September, 2018, Richard became Adjunct Music Professor of Our Lady Seat of Wisdom College in Barry's Bay where he conducts the first year Chorus class and the Ecclesiastical Schola and teaches music history and theory.
Richard has a doctorate in conducting from Ball State University, Indiana and has conducted various choirs and orchestras in Canada and the US, and his native country, Austria.

COLLABORATIVE PIANIST
ANNE SPIVEY
Anne has her BA(Mus) from the University of Western Ontario and her ARCT (Performance) from the Royal Conservatory of Music. She lives in Exeter and recently retired as the accompanist/organist for Exeter United Church. She held this position for 17 years. Anne has been associated with the South Huron Community Choir for many years as accompanist. She teaches private piano lessons at home and at Exeter Elementary School.
